I wanted to thank you for all that you and your foundation at Adopt A Letter, have done for my brother Brayan and my family. You put a smile to his face and I will be forever thankful for that.
Sadly my brother passed away in January 25, 2026 and me family are having a difficult time and we are struggling to get funds to give my brother the farewell that he deserves. We are trying our best to get all the necessary funds for the funeral and cemetery but honestly it's really hard to get them.

Funeral expenses
With a heavy heart, I’m sharing this letter from Leo Padilla, Brayan’s brother. Many of you may remember Brayan who was a sweet boy we’ve had the honor of supporting through our Adopt A Letter program since 2014. Brayan lived with muscular dystrophy, and over the years our goal was always to bring him moments of joy, comfort, and normal childhood experiences whenever possible.
Tragically, Brayan passed away on January 25, 2026 due to heart complications related to his illness. His family is now facing an incredibly difficult time and is working to raise the funds needed for Brayan’s funeral and cemetery costs, so they can give him the farewell he deserves.
