Due to lack of sanitary protection and proper sanitary facilities, many girls are ashamed to go to school and some find it difficult to sit through classes. Very often girls are humiliated and ridiculed by their male classmates and as a result many girls skip school or may even quit all together.
 
Through the Kimberly Moore Foundation's #GirlFriendlyGlobal initiative every school must have clean water, proper toilets, sanitary facilities, sanitary supplies, health, wellness, sanitary care instructions and more.
